Popp Program
Once each month, all school nurses in McLeod County receive personal products delivered by one of our volunteers (thanks Ralph).
These products are distributed to students by request with no questions asked. When this program was piloted in the Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Middle School in 2016, 5% of the student body asked for supplies. Now the program is available in all McLeod county schools grades 6-12.
Nurses, counselors and staff let students know that products are available. We supply brown paper gift bags with handles for the students to take the supplies or they can simply put them into their backpacks.
