Common Cup Ministry is looking for on-call volunteers and project volunteers. On-call volunteers carry the CCM cell phone to receive calls on day per month, and visit with individuals that call with a need. Project volunteers would help with one or more of the projects organized by CCM. The mission of Common Cup Ministry is to gather and share spiritual and financial resources of area churches into one “Common Cup” so that we may minister to those in need who do not have a church to turn to. An on-call volunteer is available Mon-Fri 9am-4pm. Calls are taken through a cell phone to which clients call and make appointments to visit as needed at the Hope Center. (Hope Center is at 218 Main St. South, Ste 100, across from MidCountry Bank.) On-call volunteers are asked to help one day per month, which can be flexible depending on work schedule and seasonal travel. Each volunteer receives thorough orientation, a resource and guideline packet and will mentor with a present volunteer until a comfort level is established. Ongoing support is available through monthly support meetings.
