Coats are collected from all over McLeod County. Many volunteers placed drop boxes throughout the communities, picked up the donated coats, washed and mended those that needed it, set up and assisted with the distribution of the coats. Common Cup works in collaboration with Heartland Community Action Agency, The Salvation Army, along with participating CCM congregations. Monetary donations are also received from community organizations, private businesses and individuals.

  • Families can receive a warm coat before winter.
  • Coats are distributed in Hutchinson & in Glencoe.
  • Distribution occurs in October, the Thursday & Friday of MEA break.
