Who We Are

CCM Director

Bev and family moved to Hutchinson 18 years ago. Bev is a registered nurse and worked 5 years with McLeod Co. Public Health before working with CCM as a Parish Nurse Coordinator. Bev became the director and Parish Nurse (PN) coordinator in 2006 after receiving a start up grant for the PN program through SWIF. “I have been blessed through this ministry and to have witnessed what each client and volunteer brings to CCM”.

Chairperson: Jerry Haag

Jerry has been on the Common Cup Ministry Board since January of 2006. He has taken a special interest in fund raising, food outreach programs and volunteers where ever he is needed. Jerry is a Member of peace Lutheran Church and is employed there as the facility administrator.

Board Treasurer: Don Lee

Don is an Iowa native, but from South Dakota to Hutchinson in 2003. He is married to Marge and they have two married daughters, who live with their families in Minnesota as well. Don and Marge are the proud grandparents of 9 grandchildren, they are retired, and both are very active in their home congregation of Oak Heights Covenant Church. Don has, for the most part of his life, lived by the theory that one should give back to their community and is very proud to serve on the CCM Board as treasurer.

Board Member: Roger Gronholz

Roger and his wife Mary moved to Glencoe 20 years ago from New Ulm. They have two sons and are blessed with 5 grandchildren. Roger has worked with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for the last 21 years. Roger and Mary are members of First Lutheran in Glencoe. "I am honored that I can help spread God's message. It's easy to volunteer when you're working for a cause you believe in. We're not giving handouts. We are giving a hand up and making a difference in our communities."

Board Member: Jerry Carlson

Jerry Carlson joined the CCM Board in March 2009. He taught Phy. Ed. and coached in Hutchinson for 32 years. He has coached swimming for 46 years. Jerry and his wife Malene, have two sons both living in Minnesota. He is a member of Christ the King Lutheranc Church and has been interested in the work of Common Cup Ministry for some time. Jerry has volunteered most recently with the Food Outreach Program.

Board Member: Ralph Johnson

Ralph Johnson has been on the CCM board since 2006. He taught 6th grade children in Hutchinson for 32 years. Ralph and his wife, Geri, have two married children who live with their families at Ft. Bragg NC and in Richmond VA. The Johnsons have 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. The Johnsons are members of Faith Lutheran Church.

Board Member: Renee Connor

Renee has lived in Hutchinson the past six years. She is currently employed part-time by the City of Hutch in the Motor Vehicle Department. Renee and her husband Mike have three children, two daughters and one son. Renee feels that Common Cup Ministry is a wonderful ecumenical organization benefiting many in our community during this time of financial insecurity. Renee states she would like to be able to give back to the community or “pay forward” some of the many blessings God has given me.
